Dr. LAURENT is a board-certified psychiatrist and psychotherapist (FMH). She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Paris and initially specialized in Nuclear Medicine, also completing certification in Oncology (CAS).
Positioned at the crossroads of clinical medicine and research, this first specialization deepened her interest in the dynamic interplay between biological, psychological, and behavioral processes.
Convinced of the need for a transversal and holistic approach to the individual, Dr. LAURENT continued her academic path in Geneva, turning her focus toward the psychological dimensions of somatic illness and the ways individuals adapt to disease, stress, and major life transitions. She subsequently specialized in Adult Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, later completing subspecialty training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry — a discipline that bridges somatic medicine and mental health.
At the University Hospitals of Geneva (HUG), she served as Chief Clinical Supervisor, working across oncology, hematology, and medical-surgical departments. There, she developed recognized expertise in psycho-oncology, psychotraumatology, burnout prevention, and professional stress management.
In 2020, Dr. LAURENT co-founded the Center for Preventive & Integrative Medicine, where she assumed medical leadership and interdisciplinary coordination. This initiative allowed her to implement a truly integrative 360° vision of care.
Beside her private consultation, she also serves as a consultant in mental performance, stress regulation, and change management. Her psychotherapeutic approach is integrative and tailored, drawing on EMDR, medical hypnosis, cognitive and behavioral therapies (CBT), and other evidence-based modalities.
Dr. LAURENT is particularly dedicated to the prevention of chronic stress, emotional regulation, and the support of neurodivergent profiles (including gifted individuals and ADHD), exploring both their vulnerabilities and strengths in high-demand environments. Her commitment is clear: to help individuals reposition themselves after significant life events, restore durable psychological and emotional balance, and mobilize their internal resources — transforming change into a lever for growth, coherence, and meaning.
